ARTAVIA™ Helps San Jacinto Elementary Learn Colorfully

AIRIA Development® Company and ARTAVIA recently donated $1,000 to San Jacinto Elementary School to help with some outdoor projects that will have students learning colorfully.

The funds will allow the school to create a fun and colorful sensory path for students as well as landscape the front entrance of the school with native Texas plants and flowers. A sensory path is a creative and playful way for kids to build sensory pathways, connections in the brain that are responsible for sight, touch, sound, etc. These pathways enable kids to complete complex, multi-stage tasks and are a great way to develop motor skills like balance, hand-eye coordination, and spatial awareness. We can’t wait to see how it turns out!

San Jacinto’s 40th anniversary is this year and once the projects are complete, parents, teachers, students and staff will celebrate with a COVID-appropriate community gathering complete with food trucks and other activities.

Students living in ARTAVIA attend San Jacinto Elementary in the highly sought-after Conroe Independent School District. CISD is considered a destination district with significant growth.
